Preamble
: By making the industrial environment of the country investment-friendly and competitive, to increase the production and employment opportunities of industrial goods and services, by making maximum use of the resources available in the country, gradually emphasizing on import substitution and export promotion, industrial business to build a dynamic and robust economy by managing the industrial sector smoothly, predictably and effectively. As it is desirable to amend and consolidate the prevailing law, the Federal Parliament has enacted this Act.
