To manage the national forest as a forest conservation area managed by the government as a community forest sharing forest, confessional forest and religious forest and to amend and consolidate the law on forestry to contribute to national prosperity by promoting private public forest, protection of wildlife environment, watershed and biological diversity. As it is desirable, the Federal Parliament has enacted this Act.
