(1) There shall be an Academic Council consisting of the following members to act as the academic body of the University:-
(a) Vice-Chancellor – Chairman (B) Principal - Vice-Principal
(c) Registrar – Member
(d) Deans of the Institute of Studies – Member
(e) Deans of Faculties – Member
(f) Ten members from among the subject committee chairpersons, representing at least one person from each faculty and study institute. (g) two members from among the campus (college) heads of the Angik Campus (angik Mahavidyalaya) (h) Two members from among the campus (college) heads of the affiliated campus (affiliated college) (i) Executive Director of Curriculum Development Center – Member
(j) Executive Directors of Research Centers – Members
(k) One representative of Nepal Professors' Association - Member (l) Two members from among eminent scholars (d) Controller, Examination Control Office, University – Member
(d) Five members from among the heads of the department (n) Ten members from amongst the senior teachers of the University (2) Nomination of the members as per clause (f) of sub-section (1) will be done by the Vice-Chancellor for two years on the recommendation of the Deans of the respective faculties and study institutes.
(3) The nomination of nominated members other than the members as per clause (f) of sub-section (1) shall be done by the Vice-Chancellor for two years on the recommendation of the Executive Council.
(4) One person from among the Deans shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor to act as the Secretary of the Academic Council.
