(1) There will be promotion committees as per Rule 72 of the Rules for promotion to non-gazetted posts of the service.
(2) The work of the secretariat of the Wadhwa Committee will be done by the concerned body where the post is vacant. But for the vacant posts in the law group, the work of the secretariat of the promotion committee will be done by the Ministry of Law and Justice.
