Rule 102
Provisions related to salary scale of promoted teachers
A teacher who is promoted to a higher salary scale will receive the starting salary of that salary scale. But if the salary he is currently getting is equal to or more than the minimum salary of the higher salary scale, his salary in the higher salary scale will be determined as follows:-
(a) If his current salary is equal to the starting salary of the upper salary scale, one salary increment will be added to that salary.
(b) In the event that the salary received in the former category is higher than the starting salary of the promoted category, when determining the salary of the higher category, the salary will be increased until it reaches the current salary and one salary increment of the higher category will also be given.
