(1) If a factory is established in the prison premises after obtaining permission according to the prevailing law, the prisoner who is willing to work in such factory may be employed.
(2) In accordance with sub-section (1), a prisoner shall be paid a wage as prescribed, not less than the minimum wage as determined by the Government of Nepal on the basis of contribution. But the inmates who work part-time should be given the wages as specified on the basis of contribution.
