Rule 39
Release of prisoner
The court may order the release of a prisoner from custody in the following cases:-
(a) If the respondent does not show any reason on the day specified in the notice or on the day of payment, (b) if the reason is shown but the reason is not reasonable, or (c) if it is seen that he has been detained with arrogance or a popular opinion or contrary to the law.
