Rule 50
Determination of Points to be Awarded for Decorations (Honours, Decorations and Medals)
: (1) A maximum of two points shall be given to the armed police personnel for the purpose of promotion for decoration received while in the post they are currently holding.
(2) While awarding marks as per sub-rule (1), the following marks shall be awarded for the following jewels:-
(a) Honors – 2 marks,
(b) Ornamentation – 1.5 marks, and
(c) For medals – 1 mark
(3) According to this rule, points will be awarded for jewels received after the year 2065 only.
