(1) The prison administrator will visit the prisoner. For the meeting of his family members, close relatives, lawyers or relatives he has requested: Necessary rooms should be arranged.
(2) If a prisoner is visited by his or her minor son or daughter, a separate room shall be arranged in the prison for the visit.
(3) According to sub-section (1), a person who comes to the prison for a visit must comply with the prescribed security arrangements and conditions before entering the prison. (4) The meeting room to be made for meeting prisoners in the prison should be senior citizens friendly, disabled friendly and gender friendly. (5) In the event that a foreign national is held as a prisoner, the diplomatic staff of the concerned country wants to meet him, if the relevant diplomatic mission requests through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, arrangements for such a prisoner shall be made in accordance with this section.
