: A person or establishment producing or distributing any goods or services shall not be made to make misleading advertisement for the purpose of controlling or limiting competition. Explanation: For the purpose of this section, any person or establishment shall be deemed to have made misleading advertisement if they do any of the following:-
(a) If the goods or services are advertised with misleading or false information which is different from the actual quality, quantity or value,
(b) promoting the market by making false or misleading advertisements regarding the warranty, benefits, quality or lifespan of goods or services,
(c) If any person or establishment makes false or misleading advertisement against the market of goods or services produced or distributed, or against such goods or services,
(d) In case of sale and distribution of goods or services in excess of the price mentioned in the advertisement.
