(1) On the basis of any complaint or information received by the Commission from any source regarding corruption, the Commission may conduct investigations and investigations or take other actions in accordance with this Act.
(2) Except as provided in Section 29, if the Commission does not take action within five years of the commission of said act, no action shall be taken under this Act in that regard after that period. However, there will be no time limit for embezzlement of government or public property or property of a public institution owned by the Government of Nepal.
