(1) A candidate or an election representative may appoint one polling representative in each polling station for the work related to voting in the election. However, only one polling representative may be present in a polling station on behalf of a party and a candidate of that party. A person whose name is included in the final voter list and who knows how to read and write can be appointed a polling representative. (3) The information about the appointment of a polling representative according to sub-rule (2) must be given to the relevant polling officer. (5) It shall be the duty of the polling representative to assist in the peaceful completion of the polling process and to stamp on the vouchers to be prepared for polling.
