Rule 26
Ballot box
(1) The Commission shall arrange the necessary number of ballot boxes in each polling station (2) Separate ballot boxes shall be used for the election held according to the first-come, first-served election system and the election under the proportional election system.
(3) When the polling officer accepts the ballot box, he shall check whether such ballot box is correct or not.
(4) The polling officer shall open the ballot box in front of the candidate, election representative or polling representative and check whether the ballot box is correct and empty before the voting begins.
(5) After checking the ballot box according to sub-rule (4), the polling officer shall leave the hole for dropping the ballot in the empty ballot box, close the box of the ballot box, put a security seal and stamp it himself and prepare a bond with the signature of the candidate, election representative or polling representative present at the polling station.
(6) According to sub-rule (5), when the voting process starts after closing the ballot box, the polling officer shall prepare a bond by having the candidate, election representative or polling representative present in the polling station correctly printed and prepared and if any candidate, election representative or voting representative does not print correctly, the bond shall be In the same manner, two other persons present at the polling station shall be duly authenticated.
