Rule 11
Scrutiny of nomination papers
(1) When the Election Officer examines the nomination papers registered in accordance with Section 20 of the Act, if there is a complaint against any candidate in accordance with Section 21 of the Act, he shall also make a decision after examining the nomination papers. If both the nomination papers are duly submitted, the election officer shall establish one of the nomination papers according to the wishes of the concerned candidate or his representative, proposer or supporter. However, in the event that such candidate, his representative, proposer or supporter is not present, the election officer may establish one of the nomination papers. (3) ) during the examination of the nomination paper, the nomination paper will not be invalidated only because of a minor mistake in the nomination paper.
