(1) In primary schools, there will be at least one female teacher if there are up to three teachers, at least two if there are seven teachers, and at least three if there are more teachers.
(2) If a teacher's post becomes vacant for any reason in a primary school where male teachers are working at the time of commencement of this rule, a female teacher will be appointed subject to sub-rule (1).
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (2), if the post of teacher cannot be filled by a female candidate, the concerned officer may appoint a male with the consent of the director.
(4) If someone appoints a teacher contrary to sub-rule (2), the District Education Officer may cancel such appointment and take action against the appointing authority or officer in accordance with this regulation.
