Rule 38
Accreditation and Equivalence Determination Committee
(1) There will be a recognition and equivalence determination committee consisting of the following members to determine the recognition and equivalence of the certificate or degree obtained after passing the secondary education exam from a foreign educational or academic institution:-
(a) Joint Secretary, (Division of Higher Education and Educational Management) Ministry - Chairman
(b) Controller of Examinations, Office of the Controller of Examinations – Member
(c) Representative, Tribhuvan University – Member
(d) Representative, Council of Higher Secondary Education – Member
(e) Director General, Curriculum Development Center – Member-Secretary
(2) Other work, duties and rights of the committee as per sub-rule (1) shall be as prescribed by the Ministry and the meeting procedures shall be as determined by the committee itself.
(3) According to sub-rule (1), the Secretariat of the Committee will be done by the Curriculum Development Center.
