Section 24
Withdrawal of Accreditation

(1) If the evaluation and review of the curriculum, conditions of admission and other necessary infrastructure and standards determined by an educational institution granted recognition in accordance with section 21 is not appropriate, the Council shall make a recommendation for revoking the approval of the operation of such an educational institution. The report will be submitted by the government of Nepal and the related educational institution to the affiliated university or institution.

(2) According to sub-section (1), the affiliated university or institution shall carry out the necessary investigation on the report including the recommendations submitted by the council. The opinion shall be submitted to the Government of Nepal.

(3) According to the report submitted by the council as per sub-section (1) and the opinion submitted by the relevant university or institution as per sub-section (2), the government of Nepal in consultation with the council shall operate such an educational institution. Approval may be revoked. In this way, the notice of cancellation of the approval to operate the educational institution will be published in the Nepal Gazette.

(4) If any examination conducted by the educational institution recognized under Section 21 is found to be irregular, the nursing degree, diploma, or degree awarded on the basis of such examination, The Council will make a recommendation to the Government of Nepal to cancel the certificate or other title.

(5) If a recommendation is received as per sub-section (4), the Government of Nepal will make necessary inquiries in this regard and the Nursing subject provided by such educational institution after a certain date. A degree, diploma, certificate or other degree can be cancelled. The notice thus canceled will be published in the Nepal Gazette.
