Section 9
The right to collect cargo
- (1) The work, duties and rights of collecting cargo will be of the customs office.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the Government of Nepal may, by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette, delegate the right to collect the cargo collected by the Customs Office by any government office or local level.
(3) According to sub-section (2) The amount of property collected by the local level should be deposited in its fund.
