(1) The sender or consignee who wants to claim compensation in accordance with this paragraph shall submit an application to the railway administrator through any of the following places within forty-five days from the date on which the station master is entrusted with the transportation of such goods:-
(a) Railway station where goods are entrusted for shipment,
(b) the railway station at which the goods are to arrive, or
(c) Central Office of the Board.
(2) According to sub-section (1), the Railway Administrator shall make a decision within twenty one days from the date of receipt of the application.
(3) A person who is not satisfied with the decision made by the railway administrator according to sub-section (2) may file an appeal in the relevant district court within thirty-five days from the date of receiving the notification of the said decision.
