: (1) Notwithstanding anything else written in this regulation, if both the petitioner and the defendant file an application for settlement before the debt recovery tribunal for the purpose of settlement in any case pending before the debt recovery tribunal in accordance with this regulation, the application shall be read to both the plaintiff and the defendant. If both parties agree to hear the meaning and result of the hearing, regardless of the status of the case. The Debt Recovery Tribunal can grant settlement.
