Rule 89
Arrangement of settlement
(1) If the parties make a joint request to get time to reach a settlement before the hearing of the case listed in the daily payment list, or if the judge hearing the case feels that there is a possibility of reaching a settlement even after the hearing of the case has started, the judge may order another date for the settlement. .
(2) On the day fixed for settlement, the parties to the case, if they are legal professionals, the legal professionals and the parties to the case bring a person whom they believe, including him. The judge who ordered to set a date for settlement as much as possible should discuss and if both parties agree, settlement should be made. If it is not possible to agree, the same payment should be ordered and the next payment should be decided according to the law.
(3) In a dispute related to public interest as per section 91 of the National Civil Procedure (Code) Act, 2074 or sub-section (1) of section 8 of the Act, settlement can be reached only if the court gives permission. In such a dispute, even if the petitioner passes the date, other public rights, interests or interested parties will have the right to raise the said case.
