Section 17A

Case Hearing Officer

(1) The respective district court shall have the authority to process and dispose of cases punishable under clause (a) or (b) of sub-section (2) of section 15.
(2) The chief district officer of the concerned district shall have the right to initiate and dispose of the case punishable under clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 15.
