29. Evaluation and Monitoring Unit

(1) For the purpose of sub-section (3) of section 38 of the Act, there shall be an evaluation and monitoring unit in each ministry as follows:-
(a) Secretary, concerned Ministry, Agency or Commission – Coordinator
(b) A maximum of two members appointed by the Secretary from among the heads of departments of ministries, agencies or commissions. (c) A maximum of two members appointed by the Secretary from among the departmental heads at the central level (d) Looking at the concerned area, Head of Branch, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers - Member
(e) Program Director, National Planning Commission Secretariat – Member (2) The unit according to sub-rule (1) shall compile and submit to the Central Monitoring and Evaluation Committee the details related to the services and facilities provided to the public and the achievements, major events and facts obtained in connection with government work.
(3) The unit as per sub-rule (1) shall provide information, information, facts, etc. requested by the Central Monitoring and Evaluation Committee.
