Section 120
Reconcilable

(1) If there is consent of the parties in any case related to offenses under Schedule-4 or if the court deems it appropriate to send such case for conciliation, the parties may be forced to choose a conciliator and if they are not selected, the court may appoint a conciliator and order that such case be sent for conciliation at any time and under any circumstances.
(2) If an order is made according to sub-section (1), the parties to the case shall appear before such conciliator.
(3) After the appearance of the parties according to sub-section (2), the conciliator shall conduct the conciliation process and if the parties agree to the settlement, he shall prepare the settlement document and submit it to the court.
(4) After receiving the document as per sub-section (3), the court shall certify such settlement document.
(5) If there is an agreement according to sub-section (4), the court may grant exemption from the penalty, fine or fee imposed by the lower court in relation to such case according to the agreement of the parties.
