(1) Upon examination of the application received in accordance with Rule 4 or 5, if the petitioner is eligible to be a conciliator according to the law and his name is deemed appropriate to be listed as a conciliator, the following bodies or officials shall list him as a conciliator on behalf of the case review body, local body or organization working on reconciliation. Will decide:-
(a) in the case of the Supreme Court, an officer appointed by that Court,
(b) in the case of a High Court, a full meeting of that Court,
(c) in the case of a District Court having only one District Judge, the concerned District Judge and in the case of a District Court having more than one District Judge, a full meeting of that Court,
(d) In the case of any other body or organization other than the officer or body mentioned in clause (a), (b) or (c), the head of the concerned body or organization.
(2) After the decision to list the petitioner as a conciliator in accordance with sub-rule (1), the body looking into the case, the local body or the organization that performs work related to reconciliation shall include the name of such petitioner in the list as per Schedule-3.
(3) According to sub-rule (1), after the decision to list the petitioner's name as a conciliator, the agency looking into the case, the local body or the organization working on reconciliation shall publish the notice on the notice board of their office.
(4) After listing the name of the conciliator in accordance with this rule, the body looking into the case, the local body or the organization that performs work related to the conciliation shall give the information to the conciliator concerned.
(5) The list of conciliators prepared by the case review body before the commencement of this rule shall be deemed to have been prepared in accordance with this rule.
