In the area where this Act is applicable, if someone has to pay any amount for the purchase and sale of goods or someone has to give any amount of fee, wage, rent or any other similar amount for the purpose of work. If the payment is made in Nepali currency or if any such amount is determined in a foreign currency, the payment must be made in Nepali currency at the exchange rate prevailing in Nepal Rastra Bank on the day of payment. The clause will not apply.
