Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in this Act,-

(a) “Nepali currency” means notes issued by the Government of Nepal or Nepal Rashtra Bank and stamps issued by the Government of Nepal, rupees, (b) "Foreign currency" means currency other than Nepali currency.
