Section 24
Deductible for travel

(1) The Board may refuse to allow any person to travel by train under the following conditions:-
(a) suffering from any disease prohibited by the Government of Nepal or the State Government from traveling in accordance with the prevailing laws relating to infectious diseases,
(b) has been prescribed by a doctor that traveling by train will adversely affect his health,
(c) There is a possibility that he may cause disturbance in the train or cause harm or inconvenience to other passengers when he is included in the journey due to consumption of intoxicants or narcotic drugs,
(d) carrying arms other than the security personnel employed for the security of the train, /or
(e) Suspicious activity of causing damage to railway property or obstructing the journey has been observed.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (1), the Board may permit a person referred to in that section to travel separately from other persons subject to 8 requirements.
(3) If any person referred to in clause (c), (d) or (e) of sub-section (1) is found to be traveling in a train, the ticket inspector may at any time disembark him from the train at the nearest railway station.
