: (1) Only organizations licensed by the Ministry may provide blood transfusion services in Nepal.
(2) According to sub-section (1), the licensed organization shall provide blood transfusion services and other related services by setting up units at different locations to provide blood transfusion services under the license.
(3) In accordance with sub-section (1), the institution providing blood transfusion service shall provide only safe blood that is sure to be free of any disease while providing blood to the recipient.
(4) According to this section, other arrangements related to the granting and renewal of licenses shall be as prescribed.
