(1) The Government of Nepal may appoint the registrar of the council from among the persons who have been registered in the council and have met the prescribed qualifications.
(2) The Registrar shall be the chief administrative officer of the Council (3) The remuneration, service conditions and facilities of the registrar will be as prescribed.
(4) In addition to what is written elsewhere in this Act, the duties, duties and powers of the Registrar shall be as follows –
(a) To submit the applications submitted by the veterinarian for registration to the relevant committee.
(b) To implement the decisions made by the Council.
(c) Entering the names of veterinarians in the registration book as decided by the council to register their names as veterinarians.
(d) In case of death of a registered veterinarian, his name shall be removed from the register.
(e) If a registered veterinarian has left the business or has changed his/her address, he/she shall indicate it in the registration book.
(f) To certify the decision of the Council.
(5) Other duties, duties and powers of the Registrar shall be as prescribed by the Council.
