Section 26
Registrar
(1) For the day-to-day administrative work of the Council, the Government of Nepal may appoint a pharmacist as the registrar of the Council or appoint a pharmacist in the service of the Government of Nepal to act as the registrar of the Council.
(2) In addition to the duties, duties and rights written elsewhere in this Act, the duties, duties and rights of the Registrar shall be as follows:-
(a) To carry out the general administration and management of the Council.
(b) To supervise, control, manage and care for the funds of the council.
(c) Prepare the annual program and plan of the council and submit it to the council (d) To prepare the annual income-expenditure statement of the Council.
(e) To implement budget plans and programs approved by the Council.
(f) To arrange for internal and final audit of the Council.
(G) Acting as liaison officer between the council and pharmacists and pharmacy assistants.
(h) To do or cause other works as directed by the Council.
(i) To perform other tasks as specified.
(3) The remuneration and benefits of the registrar shall be as prescribed.
