Rule 32
National Council for Curriculum Development and Evaluation

(1) There will be a National Curriculum Development and Evaluation Council consisting of the following members to determine policy regarding curriculum development and evaluation:-
(a) Minister of Education or Minister of State – Chairman
(b) Member, National Planning Commission (Looking after Education) – Member
(c) Secretary to the Ministry – Member
(d) Joint Secretary, Ministry (Higher Education and Educational Management Division) – Member
(e) Director General of the Department – ​​Member
(E1) Executive Director, Educational Manpower Development Center – Member
(E2) Director, Non-formal Education Center - Member (f) Controller of Examinations, Office of the Controller of Examinations, – Member
(g) Director, Curriculum Development Centre, Tribhuvan University – Member
(h) Curriculum Head, Council of Higher Secondary Education – Member
(i) Curriculum Specialist of the Faculty of Education – Member
(j) Head, Curriculum Development Center, Nepal Sanskrit University – Member
(k) One member nominated by the Ministry from among the curriculum related experts (l) Two persons nominated by the Ministry from among the renowned educationists in school education - members
(d) Representative, Teachers Union, Central Committee – Member
(d) Executive Director, Curriculum Development Center – Member-Secretary
(2) In the meeting of the National Curriculum Development and Evaluation Council, a maximum of three experts of the relevant subject may be invited to participate as observers.
(3) The term of office of the nominated members according to sub-rule (1) will be four years.
(4) The Secretariat of the National Curriculum Development and Evaluation Council will be done by the Curriculum Development Center (5) The meeting procedures of the National Curriculum Development and Evaluation Council shall be as determined by the Council itself.
