National Security Council

(3) In addition to the work mentioned in the Constitution of Nepal, the work, duties and powers of the National Security Council shall be as follows:-
(a) Prepare policies, plans and programs related to the mobilization, operation and use of the Nepali Army and submit them to the Government of Nepal,
(b) Submitting suggestions to the Government of Nepal regarding the number and organizational structure of the Nepali Army (c) To submit necessary suggestions to the Government of Nepal regarding the management of the Nepali Army (d) To submit necessary suggestions to the Government of Nepal regarding the management of weapons, ammunition and other military materials of the Nepalese Army,
(e) To do other work as specified.
(4) ……………………..
(5) There shall be a secretariat under the Ministry of Defense to conduct the work of the National Security Council. Other arrangements related to the secretariat will be as specified.
(6) The procedure for the meeting of the National Security Council shall be as determined by the National Security Council itself.
