Duties, Duties and Powers of River Guides shall be as follows:-
(a) Conducting boat trips in rivers where water travelers can be boated,
(b) To make the water travel team only on the rivers opened by the government of Nepal for water travel,
(c) To work with the cruise team in a disciplined and dignified manner (d) not to allow embezzlement of goods received for the purpose of the voyage from the voyage trader,
(e) To assist the sailing team in conducting the sailing in a safe and simple manner,
(f) To rescue the voyagers in case of any calamity and to protect the lives of the voyagers,
(g) To arrange for the disposal of the wastes produced by the use of the goods in the course of the water journey in accordance with this regulation,
(h) To work in accordance with the instructions given by the Ministry and the relevant boat operators,
(h) To do or cause any other mental work necessary to protect the lives and property of the pilgrims in the event of any divine calamity or calamity in the course of the voyage.
