Rule 2
Definition
In this regulation, unless the subject or context requires otherwise,–
(a) "Act" means the Tourism Act, 2035.
(b) "Cruise (Yafti)" means a trip on a river for recreational, natural or cultural viewing using a kayak, catamaran, boat, canoe or other similar type of watercraft that floats on the river.
(c) "License" shall mean the license granted under rule 5 to carry out the business of water travel.
(d) "Ministry" means the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Government of Nepal.
(e) "Cruise business" means a company or firm established under prevailing laws for carrying on the business of cruise
(f) "Voyage team" means a voyage team consisting of one or more members.
(g) "River Guide" shall mean a person who has received a permit in accordance with Rule 12 for the work of assisting the sailing team in sailing.
(h) "Permit" means the permit granted under rule 12 to work as a river guide.
