Section 173
Text to be translated
(1) If any document written in a language other than the Nepali language is submitted as evidence to the court and it appears that such document should be translated into the Nepali language, the court may order the party submitting such document to produce an official translation of such document into the Nepali language.
(2) According to sub-section (1), the relevant party who has been ordered by the court shall translate the said document into Nepali language and submit the certified copy to the court.
(3) If any dispute arises regarding the translation as per sub-section (2), the court may refer to the expert of such subject.
