Section 47
Penalty for concealing or altering documents or reports
: (1) If a licensee knowingly conceals or alters any document or report required to be kept in accordance with this Act or the rules made under this Act, or makes a false statement or prepares a false statement. If he does, he will be fined from one lakh rupees to three lakh rupees and imprisoned for six months to one year.
(2) If the licensee who has been punished according to sub-section (1) is determined to receive the same punishment again, the license obtained by him will be canceled after double punishment.
