(1) Before any product is sold in Nepal, the manufacturer or distributor shall submit the prescribed application to the committee for approval of the level of such product.
(2) In the case of products that have been sold in Nepal, within ninety days from the date of commencement of this Act, the producer or distributor shall take the approval of the committee for the level of such product.
(3) The level of the product should be prepared in such a way as to give necessary information about the appropriate use of the product and not to discourage breastfeeding.
(4) No picture, map or other representation shall be shown except for a graphic explaining the level of the product or the method of preparation in the pot.
(5) The name and address of the producer and, if possible, the distributor should also be present at the product level.
(6) A clear, clear and easily understandable message containing all the following information in the Nepali language shall be printed on the container or on a level that cannot be separated from the container of the product that replaces mother's milk or other dairy products within the scope of this Act:-
(a) words of urgent notice or the like;
(c) the practice that the product should not be used without advice from a health professional regarding the need and method of use,
(d) appropriate preparation instructions in easily understandable graphics or words; and
(e) The amount of breast milk substitutes or other milk products required to feed the child well every month.
(7) Do not use humanizing, genitizing or other similar words.
(8) Any item that does not meet all the nutritional requirements of the baby formula, but can be changed for it, should be placed at the level of milk or visible from the outside of the container, and there should be a warning that the product should not be the only source of nutrition for children and should not be used to feed children except as directed by a health worker.
(9) Feeding these infants at the level of sweetened condensed milk.There should be a clear and clear warning that it should not be used.
(10) Other than Dudhdani and Munto, the following things should also be mentioned in the level of other products-
(a) Seekers,
(b) Analysis and composition of the product,
(c) Conditions to be complied with while accruing,
(d) The date on which the product should be consumed considering the batch number, storage status, production date and weather conditions.
(11) In addition to the name and address of the producer and distributor, it should be mentioned that mother's milk is the best milk for babies and that it is safer to feed them from a bowl and spoon than from a bottle.
