Rule 85
School closures
(1) The school will be closed on the day designated as a public holiday by the Government of Nepal.
(2) School will be closed from Ghatasthapana of Vada Dashain to Purnima.
(3) In an academic session, the school will be closed for forty-five days on account of holidays or annual holidays or both.
(4) Apart from what is written in sub-rule (2), the management committee may close the school by granting local leave for an additional five days in an academic session.
(5) If the school is closed on days other than those mentioned in sub-rules (1) and (2), departmental action will be taken against the principal.
