Rule 6
Conditions to be followed by the school
Unless otherwise stated in the Act and these regulations, the conditions to be followed by the school shall be as follows:-
(A) To implement the curriculum and textbooks approved by the Government of Nepal (b) Additional textbooks and study materials should not be used without the approval of the Curriculum Development Center,
(c) Textbooks containing textual content that is offensive to nationalism should not be taught in schools. (d) Teachers should be paid salary without reducing it to the minimum salary set by the Government of Nepal (e) Parents should be regularly informed about the income and expenditure of the school, educational achievements and the program of the upcoming academic session by holding an annual meeting of the parents,
(f) According to Rule 170, account of income and expenditure should be kept (g) To keep a record of evidence of investment made by the school,
(h) Not to allow any activity that disturbs the national unity, sovereignty and religious tolerance of Nepal to take place in the school,
(i) Provision should be made for teachers who are qualified according to the prevailing law so that the number of teachers in the school does not fall below the prescribed number (J) Additional activities and other programs should be conducted in the school (k) Making necessary arrangements to maintain a healthy and moral character building environment in schools and dormitories,
(l) To maintain the quality of food and nutritious food for the students as prescribed by the district education committee in residential schools,
(d) Residential schools should initially provide residential facilities to at least ten percent of the students (d) To work according to the instructions given by the District Education Office,
(n) The infrastructures according to rule 4 should be maintained (p) To prepare the educational data of the school in the format prescribed by the ministry or the agency under it and send it to the district education office.
