Section 118
Reconsideration of the order of departmental punishment
: If the order of departmental punishment appears to be illegal, unjust or excessive, the following officer may reconsider and order to cancel, modify or reduce the punishment:-
(a) in the case of a sentence imposed by a commanding officer, any officer superior in command to such commanding officer,
(b) In case of punishment given by any other officer, Government of Nepal, Commander-in-Chief or other officer designated by Commander-in-Chief.
