Rule 115
Officers ordering departmental punishment and hearing appeals
: (1) Officers ordering departmental punishments in accordance with this paragraph and hearing appeals against orders of punishments so given shall be as follows:- Officers ordering punishments according to the type of punishments Officers hearing appeals (1) Armed police attendant or the like (a) Sub-Inspector of Armed Police with General Punishment or Deputy Inspector of Armed Police concerned (b) Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police with Special Punishment Superintendent of Armed Police or Senior Superintendent of Armed Police (2) Constable of Armed Police (a) Clause of Rule 110 Sub-Inspector of Armed Police or Sub-Inspector of Armed Police or Sub-Inspector of Armed Police or Sub-Inspector of Armed Police or Sub-Inspector of Armed Police or Senior Superintendent of Armed Police under sub-section (1), (2) or (3) of (a) (a) Sub-sections (4), (5), (6), (7), (8) or clause (b) related to the punishment related to the Superintendent of Armed Police or Senior Superintendent of Armed Police Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police (3) Assistant Constable of Armed Police , Armed Police Constables and Armed Police Senior Constables (a) Sub-Inspectors of Armed Police or Deputy Inspectors of Armed Police or Inspectors of Armed Police or Sub-Inspectors of Armed Police under sub-section (1), (2) or (3) of Clause (a) of Rule 110 Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police or Senior Superintendent of Armed Police (b) Superintendent of Armed Police on conviction under sub-section (4), (5), (6), (7), (8) or clause (b) of clause (a) of rule 110 or Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police (4) Assistant Inspector of Armed Police (a) Sub-section (1), (2) or (3) of Clause (a) of Rule 110, Deputy Inspector of Armed Police or Inspector of Armed Police or Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Superintendent of Armed Police or Senior Superintendent of Armed Police (b) An officer convicted under sub-section (4) or (5) of clause (a) of rule 110and the Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Police or, in his absence, the Inspector General of the Armed Police (c) Sub-sections (6), (7), (8) of Clause (a) of Rule 110, and the Punishment-related Armed Police under Clause (b) of Rule 110 Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police Inspector General (5) Deputy Inspector of Armed Police and Senior Deputy Inspector of Armed Police (a) Sub-section (1), (2) or (3) of Section (a) of Rule 110 Punishment Inspector of Armed Police or related Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police Superintendent of Police or Senior Superintendent of Armed Police (b) Sub-section (4) or (5) of Clause (a) of Rule 110, Superintendent of Armed Police or Senior Superintendent of Armed Police, Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police or in his absence, Inspector General of Armed Police (c) Punishment under clause (6), (7), (8) or clause (b) of clause (a) of rule 110 Ministry of Armed Police Inspector General (6) Inspector of Armed Police (a) clause (a) of rule 110 1), (2) or (3) the Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police or the Superintendent of Armed Police or the Senior Superintendent of Armed Police or the Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police or in his absence the Inspector General of Armed Police (b) Sub-section (4) of Clause (a) of Rule 110 or (5) the Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Police, the Additional Inspector General of the Armed Police or, in his absence, the Inspector General of the Armed Police (c) under subsection (6), (7), (8) or (b) of clause (a) of Rule 110 Punishment Secretary, Ministry of Nepal Government (7) Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police (a) Sub-section (1), (2) or (3) of Clause (a) of Rule 110, Superintendent of Armed Police or Senior Superintendent of Armed Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police or none In case Inspector General of Armed Police (b) Punishment under sub-section (4) or (5) of clause (a) of rule 110, Secretary of Inspector-General of Armed Police (Ministry) (c) Sub-section of clause (a) of rule 111Under Section (6), (7), (8) or Section (b) of the Punishment Secretary. Secretary of the Ministry (c) Clause (a) of Rule 110 (10) Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police and Additional Inspector General of Armed Police (a) Subsection (1) of Clause (a) of Rule 110, (2) or (3) under the punishment of the Secretary of the Inspector General of Police, Ministry (b) Sub-section (4), (5), (6), (7), (8) of the clause (a) of rule 110 as per that clause (b) Ministry of Penitentiary Nepal Government (11) Penitentiary Government under subsection (2), (4) or clause (b) of Clause (a) of the Inspector General of Armed Police Rule 110
(2) According to sub-rule (1), if he is the officer who hears the appeal against the sentence given by the officer who ordered any departmental punishment, he shall submit it to another armed police officer of the same rank as designated by the Inspector General of Armed Police.
