Section 46
If there is an offense related to different areas, the court of any of those areas can hear the case
In the following cases, the court of any area can process and dispose of the case:-
(a) Where an offense is committed partly in one territory and partly in another territory, the court of any of such territories,
(b) Where an act has been committed in one territory and the result thereof appears as an offense in another territory, the court of any of those territories,
(c) In connection with the same incident, different offenses have occurred in different areas, and the court of the area where any of such offenses occurred,
(d) If an offense occurs in different areas and it is not certain in which area the offense has been committed, the court in any of those areas,
(e) In the case of an offense related to the abduction of a human being or the hostage taking of a body, the court of any jurisdiction in the area where such offense is committed or in the area where the abducted or hostage person is kept or hidden or detained,
(f) In the case of an offense committed by a person traveling or against a person traveling or in relation to goods being taken from one area to another area, the offense has commenced or such person has gone to any area during the journey or such goods have been seized or taken through any area. (g) If the preparation of an offense or criminal conspiracy is carried out in one area and the offense is completed in another area, any court in the court of the area where the preparation or conspiracy took place or where the offense was completed,
(h) in the case of any offense by letter or any other communication or information technology, the court of any jurisdiction in the territory from which such letter, communication or notice was transmitted or received,
(i) If an offense occurs on the border of two countries, the court where such border is connected, Explanation: For the purpose of this section, the term border means the Dashagaja area on the border of the two countries.
(j) relating to propertyIn the case of an offence, the court of the area where such offense was committed or where the property obtained from the offense was concealed, bought, sold or taken in any other way,
(k) The court designated by the Government of Nepal in the case of cases related to offenses in which universal jurisdiction is maintained according to any treaty or law to which Nepal or the Government of Nepal is a party.
