Rule 17
Duties, duties and rights of the co-prosecutor of the special public prosecutor's office
(1) The work, duties and rights of the co-prosecutor of the Special Public Prosecutor's Office shall be as follows:-
(a) The special public prosecutor's office is authorized to prosecute criminal cases by an authorized officer who investigates and takes necessary action, and decides whether or not to proceed with the case in accordance with the delegation of authority to take necessary action, (b) Arguing on behalf of the Government of Nepal or the employees of the Government of Nepal in cases involving the rights, interests or concerns of the Government of Nepal, which are heard in the High Court, Commercial Bench of Patan, Special Court, Administrative Court, Foreign Employment Tribunal, Revenue Tribunal, Kathmandu and any other court. To do,
(c) High Court, Commercial Bench of Patan, Special Court, Administrative Court, Foreign Employment Tribunal, Revenue Tribunal, Application on orders or judgments from Kathmandu, if appeal is to be sent to Attorney General's office with draft,
(D) _ Take other actions as prescribed by the Attorney General's Office,
(e) To take action in accordance with the powers vested in the head of the office in accordance with the prevailing law.
(2) The Co-Prosecutor of the Special Public Prosecutor's Office may delegate some of the administrative powers vested in him in accordance with this regulation to be exercised by any other public prosecutor or officer under him.
