Rule 8
Holiday
(1) _ The leave of the Deputy Attorney General can be approved by the Attorney General and the leave of the Associate Attorney of the Office of the Attorney General and the leave of other government lawyers and employees of the Office of the Attorney General can be approved by the relevant head of department.
(2) The Associate Attorney of the High Public Prosecutor's Office may approve the leave of the Public Prosecutor and employees of his office and the District Attorney within his territorial jurisdiction. (3) The co-prosecutor of the special public prosecutor's office may approve the leave of the public prosecutor and other employees of that office.
(4) District Public Prosecutor: The Associate Attorney or the District Attorney can approve the leave of the public prosecutor and other employees of his office.
(5) The head of the department and the head of the relevant public prosecutor's office can take holiday leave (and festival leave).
(6) During the period when the court is open for the purpose of witnessing prisoners on public holidays, government lawyers and other employees will be provided with an additional amount as per the decision of the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers, in addition to the salary and allowance received by them for that period.
(7) Regardless of what is written elsewhere in this regulation, in the case of leave that must be approved by the Government of Nepal according to the prevailing law, it shall be as follows.
