The work, duties and rights of the University shall be as follows:-
(a) To arrange and conduct study institutes, faculties, research centers and departments for various teaching, training and research as specified for the development of higher education and supervise and inspect them.
(b) To give certificates as prescribed to students, trainees or researchers who have obtained higher education from the individual campus (affiliated college) and affiliated campuses (affiliated colleges) and to award honorary degrees to specific individuals.
(c) Grant approval and affiliation to establish a campus (college) in the private sector and determine the facilities and support to be provided by the university to such affiliated campus (college).
(D) Establishing relations with domestic or foreign universities or educational institutions.
(e) Receiving financial support from indigenous or foreign academic, educational or other organizations and individuals and sharing educational programs.
(f) To provide for the award of scholarships, medals and prizes.
(G) Arranging and conducting various sports and welfare programs under the university.
(h) To make such rules as may be necessary for the University.
(i) To do other work related to the university.
