Rule 143
Appointment of Wage Law Practitioner
(1) There shall be a required number of salaried legal practitioners in the court to provide legal aid to helpless, disabled, minors, economically disadvantaged or incarcerated persons who are unable to hire legal practitioners.
(2) The selection of salary law practitioners will be made on the basis of open competition.
(3) According to sub-rule (2), the concerned authority shall publish a public notice to invite applications from interested legal practitioners after giving a deadline of at least fifteen days.
(4) According to sub-rule (3) within the deadline of the published notice, a suitable person will be selected for the position of salary law practitioner after interviewing the applicants.
(5) The person selected as per sub-rule (4) shall be appointed by the Registrar as a salaried legal practitioner.
(6) Other arrangements related to salary legal practitioners can be organized by making guidelines.
