: (1) The amount of contribution to be borne by the Government of Nepal, State Government or local level for joining the program shall be as follows:-
(a) 100 percent of the contribution amount of the families who have received the identity card of the very poor according to the prevailing law,
(b) Severely disabled, Leprosy, HIV. 100% of family contribution of MDRTB patients,
(c) 100% of the contribution amount of senior citizens who have reached the age of seventy years,
(d) Fifty percent of the contribution amount of the family where women health volunteers are involved.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), in the event that the provincial government or the local level conducts health insurance programs for the target groups including the economically disadvantaged and the poor through grants from the Government of Nepal or from its own resources, the Government of Nepal shall bear additional contribution amount for the same. no
