Rule 147
Provisions relating to Fees

(1) The fees charged by the school to the students will be separate for community schools, companies and schools run under educational groups.
(2) District Education Office rules 145A. The maximum limit of fees that schools of "A", "B", "C" or "D" categories within their district can be determined in consultation with the following committee should be published three months before the start of the academic session.
(3) The Management Committee, after consulting with the Executive Committee of the Teacher-Parent Association, shall propose the proposed rate of fees to be charged to students for the next academic session within the maximum fee limit prescribed as per sub-rule (2) and subject to Schedule-22, two months before the commencement of the academic session. Must be submitted to the office.
(4) If the rate of fee proposed as per sub-rule (3) is received, the District Education Office will inquire whether the fee is proposed on the basis of Schedule-22 and approve the rate of such fee.
(5) According to sub-rule (4) the approved fee rate shall be submitted by the school to its notification party.
(6) Notwithstanding anything else written in this rule, after the implementation of free and compulsory education in accordance with the Act, community schools shall not be able to charge students for providing basic education up to Class VIII.
