(1) On the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor, the Chancellor shall appoint the Secretary of Pragya Pratishthan.
(2) The secretary will be a full-time officer working in Pragya Pratishthan.
(3) The term of office of the Secretary shall be four years. He can be re-appointed to the same post once.
(4) The Secretary will be in charge of Pragya Pratishthan's staff, finances and funds and other general administration. Under the supervision of the Council and the Vice-Chancellor, he will do other work as prescribed.
(5) The work, duties and rights of the Secretary and the remuneration, facilities and other conditions of service shall be as prescribed.
